Why do I have to enter my sport?

Some sports may prohibit particular substances as well as those on the WADA Prohibited List. The Drug Information Database is intended to help identify any differences to those restrictions applied by the current WADA Prohibited List (as updated).

UK Sport is committed to providing drug education and information services to athletes and to others who have a responsibility to educate athletes. By keeping a record of the enquiries logged for each sport we can assess the information needed in a sport to help improve the resources available to athletes. The database cannot capture any personal details.

If you do not want to identify your sport, choose ‘all sports’ and a generic response will be given based on the current WADA Prohibited List (as updated).
