- Select the country you represent or compete for. This will direct you to the appropriate national DID service.
- Read the introduction then click [Search].
- Read the Terms and Conditions carefully and if you accept, click on [I accept these terms and conditions].
- In the Search criteria section, select the correct option listed in each of the pull-down menus on this page. Note – Always make sure you select the correct option because rules can vary from sport to sport and product ingredients also vary from country to country.
- Type in the first few characters of the drug, medication or substance name. A pull-down menu will appear, giving you a listing of the products that start with the characters you entered. Make your selection from the available listing. Always verify what you are searching for. For products purchased in Canada you can either enter the product name or the Drug Information Number (DIN) that is listed on the packaging or label.
- A results page will appear, showing the status of each active ingredients as well as the overall status of the product you searched for. Verify the active ingredient list against the information listed on the product packaging. Remember, the overall status tells you whether the product is prohibited or not prohibited for use in your sport.
- Read the WADA Program Information section to ensure you’re aware of any additional requirements.
- Print the results page and/or record the reference number provided.
